Learn Italian the way you learned your first language — by listening and speaking, not by working through grammar tables. Level 1 is complete and available now: thirty half-hour lessons across six weeks, each opening with a conversation, introducing new words and structures, and bringing back everything you have already met at the moment you are about to forget it. Most units also carry a short reading exercise, right inside the lesson, so spelling and sound come together. What Level 1 covers Greetings, introductions and asking whether someone speaks English Finding your way — asking where things are and following directions Ordering food and drink, and paying Numbers, times and making arrangements Reading practice: linking Italian spelling to the sounds you can already say How the course works Five lessons a week, one a day, in order. Don't repeat a lesson more than once — the sequencing is what makes the vocabulary stick. Levels 2-5 The structure for the remaining four levels is already laid out so you can see where the course goes. Those units are marked "coming soon" and will be filled in as they're prepared.
